Our recent trip to Jogjakarta had become the longest trip ever. All I can say It's an exhausting trip yet delightful enough. Five days starting from Jakarta to Jogja with our own car was definitely something we don't usually deal with. There are lots of things to prepare and handle when it comes for planning such this long family trip. But the fact is, we didn't arrange this trip with that perfect-well-done planning. Basically, the one and only planning we did is discussing our destination. Even it sounds like an unprepared trip, but I can't resist it's truly a great way to open up 2016.

We chose the time when the holiday season had already ended so we didn't meet any traffic. Spent the first and second day on the road and visited several our relations at Kendal, Semarang and Magelang. On Friday we drove away to Kaliurang, Jogja to visited Museum Ullen Sentalu and Museum Gunung Merapi. Sadly, because of the time limit we didn't take Merapi Lava Tour. For end up the day, we discovered Malioboro Street back in central Jogja.

Finally on Saturday, it's time to feel the sun-kissed at the beach! We headed to east of Jogja, Gunung Kidul. Actually, Gunung Kidul has lots of beaches, but we decided to visit only Indrayanti and Baron beach. Staring to the deep blue sea is really the best soul medication ever!
